SOL

The Formula
10 ingredients. Every dose shown. Nothing hidden.
Most supplement brands hide their doses behind proprietary blends. They use token amounts of expensive ingredients to justify a long label — then obscure the actual quantities so you can't see how little you're actually getting.
SOL does the opposite. Every ingredient is listed. Every dose is shown. Because we have nothing to hide and everything to prove.
CREATINE MONOHYDRATE — 5g
The most researched performance supplement in history. Creatine monohydrate supports strength, power output, muscle recovery, and cognitive performance through ATP resynthesis — the energy currency your muscles use during high-intensity effort.
Why 5g specifically: 5g is the clinically established daily maintenance dose supported by decades of research. Most supplement blends include 2–3g — enough to put on the label, not enough to saturate muscle creatine stores effectively. SOL gives you the full dose every single scoop.
SODIUM (SEA SALT) — 800mg
Sodium is the most important electrolyte for athletic performance and the most chronically underdosed in supplement blends. During intense training you can lose 500–1,500mg of sodium per hour through sweat. Most electrolyte products replace a fraction of that.
Why 800mg specifically: 800mg matches the sodium content that serious training actually depletes. This is why LMNT built a following among high-performance athletes — they understood that meaningful sodium replacement requires meaningful doses. SOL applies the same principle.
POTASSIUM CITRATE — 300mg
Works alongside sodium to maintain fluid balance, support muscle contractions, and prevent cramping. Potassium and sodium work as a pair — optimizing one without the other leaves performance on the table.
Why potassium citrate: The citrate form is gentler on the stomach and better absorbed than potassium chloride — important in a daily supplement you're taking every morning.
MAGNESIUM GLYCINATE — 350mg elemental
Magnesium is involved in over 300 enzymatic processes in the human body — including muscle contraction, protein synthesis, energy production, and nervous system regulation. Deficiency is widespread among athletes who sweat regularly.
Why glycinate specifically: Magnesium glycinate uses the amino acid glycine as a carrier, making it significantly more bioavailable than the cheap magnesium oxide found in most supplements. Oxide is poorly absorbed and commonly causes digestive discomfort. Glycinate is absorbed efficiently and is gentle on the stomach.
Why 350mg: 350mg of elemental magnesium is a meaningful therapeutic dose — well above the token 100mg most blends include.
VITAMIN D3 — 4,000 IU
Vitamin D3 deficiency affects an estimated 42% of adults — with athletes potentially more susceptible due to indoor training environments and high physiological demand. D3 supports testosterone production, immune function, bone density, mood regulation, and calcium absorption.
Why 4,000 IU: The standard RDA of 600–800 IU was established to prevent deficiency — not to optimize performance. Research consistently shows that 2,000–5,000 IU is the range needed to maintain optimal serum levels in active adults. SOL provides 4,000 IU — a meaningful dose without approaching upper safety limits.
VITAMIN K2 MK-7 — 100mcg
The ingredient most supplements skip entirely. K2 MK-7 activates proteins that direct calcium to bones and teeth — and away from arteries and soft tissue. Without adequate K2, supplemental calcium and D3 may deposit in the wrong places.
Why MK-7 specifically: MK-7 (menaquinone-7) is the most bioavailable and longest-acting form of K2. It remains active in the body for over 72 hours versus MK-4 which clears within hours. SOL uses MK-7 because it's the form that actually works at reasonable doses.
Why K2 and D3 together: D3 increases calcium absorption. K2 ensures that calcium goes where it's supposed to. They work synergistically — taking D3 without K2 misses half the equation.
VITAMIN B12 — 500mcg
B12 is essential for red blood cell formation, DNA synthesis, neurological function, and energy metabolism. Deficiency causes fatigue, brain fog, and impaired performance — and is more common than most people realize, particularly among plant-forward eaters.
Why 500mcg: B12 has an extremely low absorption rate — only a small percentage of any given dose is actually absorbed. 500mcg ensures that even with variable absorption efficiency, you're getting meaningful B12 activity daily.
ZINC CITRATE — 12mg
Athletes lose zinc through sweat — and most don't replace it. Zinc supports testosterone production, immune function, protein synthesis, wound healing, and over 300 enzymatic reactions. Sub-optimal zinc status is associated with reduced testosterone and impaired recovery.
Why zinc citrate: Citrate form is significantly better absorbed than zinc oxide — the cheap form found in most supplements. Better absorption means more of the dose actually reaches the tissues that need it.
TAURINE — 1g
An amino acid found in high concentrations in muscle tissue that supports endurance, reduces oxidative stress during training, aids muscle recovery, and supports cardiovascular function. Commonly included in energy drinks at ineffective doses purely for marketing purposes.
Why 1g: 1g is the dose used in clinical research showing meaningful benefits for exercise performance and recovery. SOL includes the full gram — not a token amount.
PROBIOTICS — 5 Billion CFU
Bacillus Coagulans
Most probiotics die before they reach your gut. Standard Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium strains are fragile — they require refrigeration, struggle to survive stomach acid, and are largely destroyed by the heat and humidity of supplement manufacturing.
Why Bacillus Coagulans: This spore-forming strain forms a protective shell that survives room temperature storage, manufacturing processes, and stomach acid — and germinates only once it reaches the intestine. It's the only type of probiotic that actually works reliably in a powder supplement format.
Why 5 Billion CFU: 5B CFU is a meaningful daily dose for ongoing gut health support, immune function, and nutrient absorption — not a token amount included just to put "probiotics" on the label.
